Renovated Vintage Seating and Sleeping Furniture

A vintage armchair, sofa, or chair is the piece you have the closest contact with – you touch it, sit in it, and spend evenings in it. That's why we take special care to ensure that each piece is not only beautiful but, above all, comfortable and ready for everyday use. Our collection includes original seating and sleeping furniture from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s – Danish, Norwegian, Italian, and German.

Renovated Chairs and Armchairs – From Breuer to Nelson

Mid-century modern chairs and armchairs constitute the largest part of this collection. Among the designers regularly represented in our offer, you'll find Marcel Breuer, creator of the legendary Wassily chair (model B3, designed in 1925 at the Bauhaus), whose originals were manufactured by the Italian company Gavina in the 1960s. Alongside them, we present Danish chairs by Erik Buch – with a teak frame and wool upholstery, sold as sets.

Standout items in our selection of renovated vintage armchairs include the „Loose Cushion" model by George Nelson, manufactured by Herman Miller – with a low profile and loose cushions on a steel frame – as well as the „Partner" armchairs by the Danish company Erik Jørgensen, designed by J. Foersom and P. Hiort-Lorenzen, with a distinctive geometric shape from the 1970s.

Renovated vintage sofas – leather, wool, and bouclé

The sofas in our collection include both Scandinavian and Italian models. Among the latter, the Poppy two-seater sofa by Tito Agnoli, manufactured by Poltrona Frau – one of the oldest and most respected Italian upholstery manufacturers (founded in 1912) – holds a special place. From Scandinavia, we present, among others: Black aniline leather sofas from the Danish company Hurup from the 1980s, as well as Svane daybeds by Norwegian designer Ingmar Relling – combining a steel structure with natural leather cushions.

Renovated vintage beds and daybeds – brass, teak, and bouclé

The vintage beds in our offer are primarily Italian pieces – such as the brass bed designed by Ciansky, Shelba, and Luciano Frigerio for Frigerio di Desio from the 1960s, with a massive brass headboard. Alongside them, we present Scandinavian daybeds – functional pieces that serve as sofas during the day and as an additional sleeping space at night. Our current offering includes, among others, a Danish daybed from the 1960s upholstered in natural bouclé fabric.

How do we restore Mid-Century Modern seating?

Mid-century modern seating and sleeping furniture requires a different approach to renovation than wood or metal furniture. In addition to the structure, we also restore the upholstery. In many cases, we retain the original upholstery (if it's in good condition), cleaning it, and refreshing it. When the upholstery needs replacing, we use fabrics as close to the original as possible—wool, genuine leather, or bouclé—selected to reflect the period and style of the piece. Each product description includes information about the condition of the upholstery and any changes.
