This Scandinavian Svane teak daybed is a versatile piece that seamlessly transitions between day and night, embodying the essence of minimalism and Norwegian design purity. Designed by Ingmar Relling for Ekornes in the 1970s, it combines functionality with elegance.
The daybed features a sleeping function when fully unfolded, along with a convenient compartment for storing sheets and blankets underneath. The side table smoothly moves up and down, adding to its versatility. The solid teak frame, paired with new natural wool upholstery in a light grey hue, exudes simplicity and elegance, typical of Scandinavian modern design.
The daybed has been restored. The upholstery is new, made in wool with leather piping.,
All the wood has been cleaned and preserved with Danish oil.
In general fantastic renovated condition.
