Description
The mid-century rosewood daybed, made in Denmark in the 1960s, is a splendid example of the era’s design ethos. This piece features a sturdy rosewood frame, showcasing the rich, deep tones and beautiful grain pattern.
The meticulously crafted headboard and back frame speak for themselves; the solid wood has been masterfully carved and joined, with no visible screws, ensuring a seamless look. The slatted design adds character and lightness. This high, ergonomically bent, and slightly rounded construction offers excellent support and comfort for your back while lounging or reading. The entire wooden structure is built to last for decades, providing enduring comfort. A practical addition of wheels makes moving the furniture easier. The versatile design of the daybed allows it to function both as a comfortable seating option and as a stylish focal point in a living room or guest bedroom.
A new quilted mattress, upholstered in natural, fluffy soft Alpaca wool in beige tones, along with a decorative bolster, provides comfort, a warm look, and adds texture to the design. Additionally, the use of natural wool brings harmony to contemporary interiors filled with artificial materials.
The daybed is in fantastic condition after renovation. Our team has taken special care to ensure the finish and authenticity of this vintage piece. The original rosewood frame has been cleaned and treated with protective oil to enhance the grain. The new bed frame under the mattress and the foam inside provide both comfort and durability.
