Description

This charming Danish mid-century dressing table crafted in the 1960s seamlessly combines functionality with elegance. Crafted with precision and attention to detail inherent in Danish craftsmen. Its remarkable quality is evident in drawers’ dove-tailed fronts and nicely integrated handles. Its gentle lines, rich teak wood grain will add warmth and character to any space. There is a shipping description on the back from 24.12.1966, probably when it was just out of the factory. There is also also manufsacturers mark.

In addition to the beautiful minimalist exterior, this piece offers incredible functionality. The upper part opens up to reveal a spacious surface with a mirror and a handy drawer, creating a practical space for grooming and makeup. Just below the countertop, there is a drawer with a few compartments, providing organized storage space and easy access to cosmetics and accessories. Alternatively, you can also use the furniture as a regular dresser with convenient space for journaling.

Despite the passage of time, the dressing table remains in great original condition. We replaced the old mirror with a new one for more comfortable use. Since the original specific hinges that supported the top part were broken, we devised an easy solution using a wooden rail to keep it from falling down. However, you can also lean the top part against the wall. We have made sure that all drawers work properly and smoothly. The traces of use are minimal considering its age. The wood has been cleaned and refreshed with professional compounds to enhance its beauty. Its long history is evident from the writing on the back, reminiscent of entries in old books you can sometimes find in antique bookstores, and its authenticity is further confirmed by the producer’s stamp.
