Description
Three-bay teak home office wall unit designed by Preben Sorensen, in the 1960s and made in Randers, Denmark by PS System. that is validated by the original manufacturer’s label preserved. The wall unit features three cabinets and seven shelves, providing just enough storage space and exposition for books and decorations. This entirely modular shelving system is ideal for a home office, as the compact desk will allow you to work even in the living room. Each component is 80cm wide and can be arranged at ones will.
The set consists of:
- 8 shelves 20cm deep
- 1 desk 45 cm deep
- 1 cabinet with glass doors H: 35/ W: 80/ D: 35 cm
- 1 cabinet with sliding doors H: 50/ W: 80/ D: 45 cm
- 1 chest with 4 drawers H: 50/ W: 80/ D: 45 cm; drawers height: 8,5 cm
- 4 wooden rails 200 cm long
- brass hardware
The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have made sure that doors and drawers work properly, and all parts fit together. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here we have rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil layers. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old.
Clients from all around the world already have trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece.
The set is in excellent vintage condition with minor traces of use, like light discoloration on the desk but bearly visible.
Please send us your postal code to learn about the shipping time and cost for your precise location. We can ship to any country in the world, but the time of processing the order will vary from country to country. We are happy to negotiate the price, especially if you decided to buy several pieces.
