Description
The very comfortable vintage sofa model 535 was made in the late 1960s and early 1970s by the Danish leather furniture factory – Mogens Hansen. Soft, thick aniline cognac leather, which has bravely survived several decades, still delights and is in fantastic condition with a beautiful patina and wrinkles that emphasize its age. The sofa is amusingly described as a “two and a half seater” as the division of the cushions indicates a 2-seater, but it fits three people. One large back cushion, affectionately called by us a horn, join all segments into one piece and rests on two separate seat cushions. All, filled with goose down, make this mid-century sofa supremely comfortable and provides the pleasant seat you like to dive in for a long. The legs are in solid beech wood. The sofa will fit perfectly in any modern apartment, lounge room, or studio.
The sofa is in original vintage condition, satin liner (characteristic of M.H. pieces) is also in great shape. Leather has been cleaned with the professional components.
