Description
Scandinavian free-standing, teak one-bay vintage wall unit made in the 60s in Norway. It was upcycled in teak and black varnish with great care to detail and very fine carpentry solutions. Some parts have been remade by our carpenter and varnished black. Most of it is original John Texmon teak parts. Ergonomic mid-century forms and delicate lines, especially a black varnish finish, enhance the teak grain and mid-century look of this piece. The manufacturer’s label is preserved at the back.
This vintage bookcase is made of modular parts and can be arranged as needed. It features one cabinet, one display case (, and one shelf, which provides additional storage space and creates a functional space. A transparent glass door can be added to the cabinet, but it looks best without it, in our opinion.
This wall unit consists of:
one cabinet (H: 47 cm /W: 78.5 cm /D: 40 cm)
display case with inner wooden shelf (H: 43 cm/W: 78.5 cm /D: 22 cm)
shelf with back and sides (H: 14 cm /W: 78.5 cm /D: 21 cm)
two wood rails 210 cm long
Our team has checked the wall unit thoroughly. All components fit together and work properly. We leave minor, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We bring it back to its best look, considering it is 60 years old.
