Description
A genuinely Scandinavian mid-century modern wall unit in teak with a desk shelf and seven shelves, known as the “Ergo” unit designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk. It was made in Norway in 1960s. Slightly curved edges varnished in black make an uncommon impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement.
This shelving system includes:
- desk shelf 42 cm deep
- four shelves 21 cm deep
- one shelf 30 cm deep
- two shelves with flanks 22 cm deep and 14 cm high
- three teak rails-tracks 188 cm long
There is minor age-typical wear, but overall remains in fantastic vintage condition, especially after cleaning it and coating it with an additional layer of Danish Oil.
