Description
Elegant and functional Kai Kristiansen dresser manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s. It is a rare model with seven drawers, also might be known as the semainier, popularized in 18th-century France (the name comes from the French word for the week, semaine), which was intended to separate the copious personal linens of the time into Monday-through-Sunday supplies. The dresser has a nicely curved front with solid teak round handles, a teak base and features a beautiful and perfectly matched teak veneer. The top drawer is lockable by the original key preserved.
The chest of drawers has been checked by our team. All drawers are clean and work smoothly. Here we have cleaned the wood meticulously, and the surface was refreshed with several layers of Danish Oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. Our goal is to restore the furniture to its best condition, considering its age of 60 years. Clients from all around the world have already trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece.
Excellent vintage condition with minor traces of use. Original key include.
