Description
This beautiful Danish wall unit/bookcase was designed by Johannes Sorth for Nexo in the 1960s. It is a marvelous example of high-quality Danish mid-century carpentry combined elegance and functionalism. The bookcase consists of two adjustable shelves, a cabinet with sliding doors, and also a secretaire with a pull-out desk with many small compartments, and three small drawers hidden behind tambour doors. This piece of furniture can help one create a discreet space for a home office while ensuring just enough place for storage, books, and decorations. The unit stands on a solid teak base. The rest is made out of teak veneer with solid teak accents. Overall is in excellent original vintage condition with minor traces of use.
