True code to minimalism and Norwegian purity – Scandinavian Svane suit – set of two daybeds in teak, designed by Ingmar Relling manufactured by Ekornes the 1960s – 1970s. This vintage set accompanies you both – day and night.

It consists of a daybed, a three-seater sofa, a coffee table, and a corner table with additional removable extension, providing an extra shelf for books or decorations, glasses. Svane daybed and sofa have a sleeping function while fully unfolded and also feature a compartment for sheets and blankets underneath (Here only in one of the beds). The side table of the daybed moves smoothly up and down.

Solid teak frame combined with original natural wool upholstery in forest green color gives the impression of simplicity and elegance at the same time, classic for Scandinavian mid century modern design. Perfect for any living room, office space, or a mid-century modern-style lounge.

The set is in fantastic, almost unbelievable original condition and additionally has been checked by our team. We have made sure that all mechanisms work properly and we washed delicately the upholstery so it is ready to use for a new owner. The wood has been refreshed with Danish Oil. Some very minor signs of use are visible on the wood only to confirm the age of the suite. It was probably used very rarely, because even the foams are very sturdy.
