Description
Large, visually appealing and extremely functional, this Danish shelving system was designed in the 1960s by Kai Kristiansen, an icon of Danish design, for the renowned furniture manufacturer Feldballes Møbelfabrik.
Designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, this wall unit is crafted from rosewood – a material known for its rich, deep tones and striking grain patterns. The use of high-quality rosewood and veneer ensures the piece’s durability and longevity. Attention to detail is evident in precisely sculpted handles and the meticulous joinery of the tambour doors, highlighting the artistry of Danish craftsmanship.
This piece of furniture will elegantly fill an entire wall, providing plenty of space to store and display books and decorations. A nicely integrated lamp will elegantly illuminate any item placed on the cabinet below. The combination of shelving and cabinets offers a versatile mix of display and storage options, making it ideal for living rooms or offices where both aesthetics and organization are crucial.
This wall system is fully modular, offering a variety of configuration options to suit your needs. The assembly system is simple and intuitive.
