Truly Scandinavian modern free-standing wall unit in teak is a 3-bay modular shelving system Ergo designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1960s. The slightly curved edges make a warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement.
This shelving system includes:
- two cabinets with sliding doors H: 42cm / W: 79cm / D: 37 cm 42/78,5/37
- one chest of 3 drawers H: 42cm / W: 79cm / D: 37 cm, drawers inner height 10cm
- one glass door cabinet H: 43cm / W: 79 cm / D: 22 cm
- one small cabinet wit open bookshelf on top H: 43/ W: 78,5/ D: 22 cm
- four shelves 21 cm deep
- one flanged shelf 21 cm deep and 14 cm high
- four teak rail legs-supports 203 cm high
- brass hardware
The wall unit is in excellent vintage condition with minor traces of use. It has been cleaned and checked. It is not necessary but recommended to mount the wall unit to a wall.
