Description
Truly Scandinavian mid-century modern free-standing wall unit in teak is both functional and very elegant. Slightly curved edges make a warm impression, and glass cabinet and four shelves provide just enough space for books and decorations. It is a completely modular shelving system “Ergo” which was designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1960s.
This shelving system includes:
- 1 cabinet with glass doors – H: 43 cm x W: 78.5 cm x D: 23 cm
- 2 shelves 21 cm deep
- 1 shelf 30 cm deep
- 1 shelf with sides 21 cm deep
- 2 teak supports each 167 cm long
There is minor age typical wear such as shallow scratches and small imperfections. Overall, it is in very good vintage condition, especially after cleaning it and coating it with an additional layer of Danish Oil.
