Description
It is an entirely modular shelving system called “Ergo” – designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1960s.
Truly Scandinavian mid-century modern wall unit in teak is both functional and very elegant. Slightly curved edges make a warm impression, and a glass cabinet and shelves provide just enough space for books and decorations. The secretaire desk will create an unobtrusive space for a home office.
This shelving system includes:
– a secretaire with a lockable door featuring compartments and a shelf. Key included. H: 42/W: 78,5 / D: 36 cm
– one cabinet with glass doors with shelf on top – H: 43 / W: 78.5 / D: 23 cm
– four shelves 21 cm deep
– three shelves 30 cm deep
– one shelf with sides 21 cm deep
– two teak supports 216 cm long
– brass hardware
There is minor age-typical wear, such as shallow scratches and little imperfections. Overall, it is in very good vintage condition, especially after cleaning and coating it with an additional layer of Danish Oil.
