Description

Extremely elegant rosewood wall unit with four cabinets by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sorensen. It is one of the highest quality Danish mid-century wall systems made in the 1960s. It features brilliant carpentry, attention to details and rich rosewood grain.

This piece of furniture will elegantly fill an entire wall, providing plenty of space to store and display books and decorations. At the same time, thanks to the large spaces between the components, it does not give the impression of being overwhelmed. We have considered that the bar cabinet can work as a smart drop front desk or can be used for both functions. One cabinet was designed specifically for enthusiasts of vinyl records. A liftable top will make it easier to access the gramophone, and holes inside the cabinet will allow you to hide cables discreetly.

The superior quality is confirmed by the Danish Control label, constituting a distinction for the best furniture manufacturers.

This beautiful bookcase is entirely modular, all the parts can be interchanged and set up upon ones will, using an easy system with wooden supports and pins placed into solid wood rails. The shown setup is just an example.

The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have made sure that all mechanisms work properly. We have cleaned the wood and the original varnish was refreshed with professional compounds.

We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering they are 60 years old.
