Extremely elegant, rosewood wall system designed by Poul Cadovius for Cado in the 1960s. Simple, angular silhouette with almost no ornamentation or embellishments makes it a perfect addition to any type of interior. Despite its minimalist appearance, the combination of meticulous craftsmanship and choice of rosewood-known for its rich, deep tones and striking grain patterns-makes the piece a true decoration. The nicely integrated, nearly invisible handles sculpted in solid wood, along with the sleek, frame-like profile surrounding the drawers and cabinets, are characteristic of Cadovius’ designs.
The variety of components offers a versatile mix of display and storage options, making the wall unit ideal for living rooms or offices where both aesthetics and organization are crucial. Adjustable shelves allow for the display of personal items or art, regardless of size. Books stored in the glass-front cabinet remain visible while being protected from dust.
This wall system is fully modular, offering a variety of configuration options to suit your needs. The assembly system is simple and intuitive, with shelves mounted on solid wood rails using brass hangers, or for larger components like the dresser, on metal pins.

Despite the passage of nearly six decades, this piece remains in perfect original condition. The drawers are clean and operate smoothly, and the wood has been treated with professional compounds to enhance its natural beauty. The engraving “Made in Denmark” located on the back of the shelves confirms the authenticity of the furniture’s origin.
