A simple yet elegant walnut home office wall unit with a desk, designed by Poul Cadovius for Cado in the 1960s It is an excellent alternative for traditional desk, especiallly nowadys when we use fewer documents and file holders. It takes less space and decorates a wall with beautiful wood grain.

Poul Cadovius and Kai Kristiansen wall units are sculprurelike. They are fine examples of Danish carpentry from the mid-century era, can be used in a bedrrom, living room or anywhere where a discrete working space is needed.

This modular wall unit features two stylish shelves, an elegant cabinet with rich walnut grain sliding doors with “made in Denmark” engraved and a desk-shlef that is 48 cm deep. The rails are made in solid walnut and the hardware is in brass.

The wall unit consists of:

A desk shelf 48 cm deep
Two shelves 20 cm deep
Two solid wood rails 198 cm long
Brass hardware (two long brass hangers for desk shelf, four small shelf hangers)

All the parts can be hung upon once will, higher or lower, also interchanged, we recommend hanging desk at 71-76 cm height. But it is really up to you where you place it. You can change the hight in 30 sconds anyway.

Our team has checked the wall unit thoroughly. All components fit together, the interiors have been cleaned. Doors slide smoothly. We have refreshed the wood using Danish oil and other professional compounds to give it a rejuvenated look.

We leave minor, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, considering it is 60 years old.
