Description
The iconic Poul Henningsen 4/3 lamp, dating from the 1970s-1980s, was designed as a smaller version of the famous PH5 prototype in the 1960s. Made by Louis Poulsen in Denmark, the manufacturer’s label has been preserved. Its design follows the general three-shade system based on the logarithmic spiral, with the center of the light source positioned at the center of the helix. These highly recognized metal lamps were produced in several formats and colors, with the underside of the shade mostly painted white to provide diffuse light. The presented lamp is in a sharp orange color and is in excellent original condition, with only minor traces of use and its original 43 cm long cord, that can be made longer upon request. Requires E27 bulb.
