This extremely comfortable lounge armchair by Bruno Mathsson, made by Dux, is an improved version of Pernilla made in the 1960s (the original version is from 1944). The chair features a minimalistic and organic design with a curved seat and backrest in combination with a practical footstool providing comfort and support. Both are made of curved beech plywood, canvas, and new natural sheepskin upholstery, which makes the piece extremely comfortable, perfect for long cold evenings with a book. Sheep wool has great anti-allergic properties and provides electrostatic balance, which is very important in contemporary interiors full of artificial materials.
