Description
A mid-century upcycled teak wall unit with an expository shelf, designed in the style of Poul Cadovius. It is a functional piece of furniture that can hold books, magazines, and small decorative items. It can be a great addition to any bedroom, entry hall, or small living room. The shelves are 20 cm deep and can be moved lower, higher, and interchanged. The rails are divided into six parts that allow for different settings, including parallel and semi-parallel configurations. The setup depends on your preferences and needs.
The unit consists of:
- 6 x short solid wood rails (100 cm each)
- 7 x shelf 20 cm
- 1 x expository shelf
- brass hardware
We have upcycled most of the parts of this unit, which come from the 60s. We use old and new parts to create a uniform mid-century look. The shelves have new veneer and were refinished, to a uniform look. The brass hardware shows some patina. The rails are in solid oak. All the wood has been treated with a Danish oil finish.
