Description
The solid brass pendant lamp P-295 was designed by Danish architect Fritz Schlegel (1896-1965) and manufactured by Lyfa in the 1960s. The adjustable pull system is working, and the lamp also comes with the original brass capony. The lamp is in very good original condition with small dents at the top of a shade and minor scratches. Freshly polished shines brightly, almost like new, but still has a delicate vintage patina. The lamp has original wiring with black braided cable. The adjustable pull system gives a possibility to extend the lamp to 190 cm.
Fritz Schlegel has designed many different buildings around Denmark – both private homes, summer residences as public buildings, including Tivoli’s concert hall in Copenhagen. Schlegel had his design studio in 1934 until he died in 1965.
