This Scandinavian mid-century modern freestanding bookcase in teak features two long cabinets (one with a slidig door made of diamond-shaped pattern glass) and one shelf. It is an entirely modular shelving system called “Ergo de lux” which was designed by John Texmon for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1960s. The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have examined if all the doors and drawers work properly. We have rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil, which helps to nourish and enhance the wood grain. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We bring furniture back to its best look, considering they are 60 years old.
