Description
Large, visually appealing and extremely functional, this Danish shelving system in teak was designed in the 1960s by Kai Kristiansen, an icon of Danish design, for the renowned furniture manufacturer Feldballes Møbelfabrik.
Designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, this wall unit is crafted from warm-hued teak wood, showcasing a beautiful wood grain pattern both inside and outside the cabinets. The use of high-quality teak wood and veneer ensures the piece’s durability and longevity. Attention to detail is evident in the sculpted side panels, handles, and precise carpentry joints, highlighting the artistry of Danish craftsmanship. These elements, made from solid teak wood, also provide additional structural reinforcement.
This piece of furniture will elegantly fill an entire wall, providing plenty of space to store and display books and decorations. At the same time, thanks to the large spaces between the components, it does not give the impression of being overwhelmed. This combination of open shelving and closed cabinets offers a versatile mix of display and storage options, making it ideal for living rooms or offices where both aesthetics and organization are crucial.
