Elegant yet functional, Kai Kristiansen teak home office wall unit was manufactured by FM Mobler, which is validated by the original label. It features a sleek desk with two drawers and a built-in lamp shelf that creates a suitable discreet space for work in the living room or bedroom. Additionally, eight shelves provide just enough space for books and decorations. The wall unit is made out of wood veneered with teak. This bookshelving system is entirely modular. Each element is 86cm wide, and one can arrange all the parts by ones will. It is a simple system of metal brackets fitting into the rails. This piece is a stunning example of Danish carpentry skills from mid 20th century.

• 3 metal rails veneered in teak 217 cm long

The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have made sure that all parts fit together and that the drawers and light work properly. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here we have only rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. Our goal is to restore the furniture to its best condition, considering its age from the 60s.
