The famous vintage chair, model 42, designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Schou Andersen in the 1960s, will be a great addition to any desk, living roomor a bedroom. Solid rosewood frame and original natural wool upholstery with an intriguing colorful ribbon pattern make the chair stylish and extraordinary. This model has a comfortable pivoting back and a stable solid wood structure. Chair #42 perfectly exemplifies Danish modern design’s meld of form, space, and functionality.
We have managed to safe the original fabric which is almost intact. Foams of the seat needed to be exchanged though, which adds much comfort. The chair is solid and sturdy. The wood has been cleaned and preserved with professional compounds. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality.
