The Danish one-bay teak wall unit, designed by Kai Kristiansen for FM Mobler in the 1960s, shows the mastery of Danish mid-century craftsmanship. The manufacturer’s label is well-preserved.
This vintage bookcase features three shelves and a sliding door cabinet with two inner adjustable shelves, and one inside drawer lined in green fabric. It provides a functional space for storage and books. It is an entirely modular shelving system. All components are 85.5 cm wide and can be arranged as needed with an easy system of metal baskets fitting into the rails, moving all parts up and down, and interchanging them.
This set consists of:
• two shelves 24cm deep
• one shelf 18 cm deep
• one cabinet with sliding doors with two inner shelves and one small, inside drawer lined with green lining, H:50/W:85.5/D:40 cm
• two metal rails 175 cm long each
Our team checked the bookcase thoroughly. All components fit together. We have cleaned the wood and protected it with Danish oil.
Overall the set is in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of wear related to its age.
