Description
Italian mid century freestanding floor to ceiling wall unit in two independent sections was manufactured in the 60s, closely reminding the style of Franco Albini’s design for Poggi from the same period. The wooden construction is veneered in teak, even on the backside, which makes it a perfect room divider. It is accented with solid teak sculptural geometric handles and brass details. The piece is mounted with pressure rails between the floor and the ceiling, and its total height is adjustable to fit any room height between 267 and 385 cm, thanks to an extendable screw. It comes with adjustable brass feet, ensuring stability on uneven floors.

The set has been checked by our team. We have made sure that all drawers and doors work properly. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here we have only cleaned the wood meticulously, and the original varnish was refreshed with professional compounds. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. Our goal is to restore the furniture to its best condition, considering its age of 60 years. Overall, fantastic vintage condition with minor signs of age and use. One of the shelves has two light candle burn marks – the shelf is mounted on the top above the line of sight, so it is virtually unnoticeable.
The wall unit can be placed without ceiling extensions (then the total height is 260 cm, but we recommend using them).
