Description
This tall, floor to ceiling, tension-mounted wall unit will not only elegantly fill an entire wall but also visually enlarge the room. With a height of almost 300 cm, it fits perfectly in a tenement or loft apartment. The combination of high-quality teak veneer and metal mounting elements ensures durability and longevity while adding warmth to any interior.
Versatility is key in this bookcase. The shelves, mounted on black-painted metal rails, are adjustable, allowing for effortless customization to suit your preferences and needs. They can be moved lower, higher, or interchanged, offering flexibility for various arrangements. It’s also fully double-sided, with shelves veneered on both sides—a functional feature that makes the wall unit ideal as a room divider.
The bookcase is mounted with pressure between the floor and the ceiling, with a basic height of 295 cm. The metal rails feature adjustable brass feet on both sides, providing stability on uneven floors and allowing for an overall height adjustment of about 4 cm (by screwing or unscrewing them as needed).
The set includes:
4 shelves: W: 80 / D: 38 cm
8 shelves; W: 80 / D: 28 cm
3 construction rails, each 295 cm long
Our team has checked the bookcase, and it remains in great original vintage condition. We have made sure that all mechanisms work smoothly. Metal and brass elements have been polished. Wooden parts – cleaned and rejuvenated with professional compounds. While it does exhibit some signs of use, these are minor imperfections consistent with its age. We have chosen to leave them as they contribute to the piece’s long history and do not detract from its overall aesthetic.
We could adjust the height a bit more than the original range if needed, either up or down. Let us know what your ideal height would be.
