Description
A famous oak razor blade chair designed by Henning Kjaernulf in the 1960s and manufactured in Denmark by Nyrup. The slightly curved backrest are razorblade-shaped and is an uncommon design feature. The style and shape of the carved legs and frame recall an almost Baroque design paired with Scandinavian modernism making an outstanding yet impressive combination.
The natural grain and color of the varnished oak are complimented by the original mid-century upholstery of the seat in bright green color with an interesting striped pattern. With a commitment to combining tradition and modernity, Henning Kjærnulf’s design is an immediately recognisable and timeless classic. Overall, fantastic vintage condition.
Upholstery can be changed upon request.
