A table is the focal point of any interior—a piece of furniture around which daily life revolves. In our collection, you'll find original tables from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, primarily from Denmark and Italy. Each piece is unique—located in European antique shops, verified for authenticity, and professionally restored before being offered for sale.

Danish Dining Tables—Teak, Rosewood, and Extending Mechanisms

Danish dining tables from the Mid-Century Modern period are among the most sought-after vintage furniture in the world. They are distinguished by a combination of precious woods (teak, rosewood, walnut) with sophisticated extending mechanisms—concealed wings, central inserts, and extendable leaves—that allow you to adjust the table's dimensions to the number of people.

Our selection includes, among others: the works of Johannes Andersen – a designer called the „king of Danish tables" whose tables for Uldum Møbelfabrik are distinguished by their soft edges and hidden extensions. We also have the „Elevator" table by Kai Kristiansen for Trioh – with a height-adjustable mechanism that allows you to transform the coffee table into a dining table (up to 67 cm) – as well as an extendable rosewood table by John Mortensen for Heltborg Møbler (extendable to 219 cm) and a very long teak table by Arne Vodder for Sibast, reaching 290 cm when extended. 

Italian Tables and Side Tables - from the 1950s to Memphis Milano

Italian mid-century modern tables represent a completely different aesthetic – from the elegant classicism of the 1950s to the bold formal experiments of the 1970s and 1980s. Our selection includes coffee and side tables in the style of Paolo Buffy – one of the masters of Italian modernism of the 1950s – as well as teak and brass dining tables from the 1960s.

Furniture from the Space Age aesthetic constitutes a separate group – such as a dining table and set of chairs attributed to Giotto Stoppino (1970s), made of white plastic and chrome. From the 1980s, we present tables in the Memphis Milano style – colorful, geometric shapes made of laminate that broke with the minimalism of previous decades.

Renovated Coffee Tables - Teak, Marble, and Ceramic

The mid-century modern coffee tables in our collection range from classic Scandinavian teak designs to more decorative pieces. Standout examples include tables from the Danish studio Ox Art, featuring a teak frame and hand-painted ceramic tiles, as well as Italian marble tables (including pink marble from the 1980s).

How do we renovate mid-century modern tables?

A tabletop is a surface that has endured decades of daily use, requiring special attention during restoration. We clean and sand the tabletops, removing stains and scratches, and then seal them with varnish or oil (depending on the original finish), restoring the natural depth of the wood grain. Tabletops that detach from the base (which applies to most dining tables) are packaged separately for shipping. Each table's description includes the full dimensions—both folded and unfolded—as well as the material from which the tabletop and frame are made.
