This executive desk, designed by Gunni Omann for Oman Jun, exemplifies elegant Danish modernism from the 1960s and 1970s. Crafted from premium teak wood, the desk features a refined minimalist design that seamlessly blends form and function. A solid teak frame, including legs, and drawer pulls, along with a surface veneered in natural teak, provides durability and showcases the beauty of the wood. The desk boasts six drawers, including divided wooden compartments with a pen tray, as well as a discreet bar cabinet, ensuring practicality. The upper drawers and cabinet are lockable, allowing for the secure storage of documents and personal belongings. Recesses at the back of the desk can serve as a handy library.

All these features not only make the desk practical for home or office use but also allow it to be placed in the center of a room, as the back is designed to be visually appealing. The generously sized tabletop provides ample space to work on multiple projects simultaneously, making it ideal for professionals who require a substantial work area.

Despite the passage of several decades, the desk remains in excellent original condition. Finished with an oil treatment, the wood retains its rich, warm tone and durability. The drawers operate smoothly, reflecting the desk’s high build quality and careful maintenance over the years. The locks are fully functional and include the original keys.
