Description
Truly Scandinavian mid-century modern free-standing wall unit in teak with two cabinets, and a very practical shelf with sides. It is a completely modular shelving system “Ergo” which was designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1960s. Slightly curved cabinets make a warm impression and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement.
This shelving system includes:
- 1 cabinet 3 drawers – H: 44 cm x W: 78.5 cm x D: 34 cm, drawers height: 11 cm
- 1 cabinet with glass doors – H: 41 cm x W: 78.5 cm x D: 23 cm
- 1 shelf with sides 21 cm deep
- 2 teak supports each 227 cm long
There is minor age typical wear such as shallow scratches and small imperfections such as minor dent on glass sliding door. Overall, it is in very good vintage condition, especially after cleaning it and coating it with an additional layer of Danish Oil. The rails feature perforations to mount the wall unit to the wall.
