Johannes Andersen
Johannes Andersen (1903–1997) – often called the king of Danish tables – was a master of mid-century design, known for his coffee tables, sideboards, and dining furniture crafted from teak and rosewood. His signature style includes smooth curves, softened edges, and hidden extensions that showcase both craftsmanship and innovation. Active during the golden age of Scandinavian design, Andersen created timeless pieces like the Capri table, Capri sofa, Smile table, and Allegra stool. With a deep respect for form, function, and the human element, his work remains highly sought-after by collectors and design lovers worldwide.
