The stunning vintage Danish bookcase with a hidden desk from the 1960s will create a home office space when needed. It is a fantastic example of high-quality Danish mid-century carpentry combined with elegance and functionalism. The bookcase consists of three shelves, including two adjustable ones, and a cabinet with sliding doors and four drawers. Two little drawers and a set of compartments placed under one adjustable shelf combined with a pull-out desktop create a functional, discreet desk.

This piece of furniture can help one create a discreet space for a home office while ensuring just enough place for storage, books, and decorations. The unit stands on solid oak tempered legs, which enhance its Scandinavian origin. This vintage bookcase is made out of teak veneer with solid teak and solid oak accents.

The bookcase was checked by our team. We have made sure that doors, and drawers work properly. Occasionally, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here, we have rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil layers. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality.

The desk top has a couple of shallow scratches. They are not visible while it is closed, they show when the top is pulled out. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old.

The set is in excellent vintage condition with minor traces of use, like light scratches on the top.
