Description
Mid-century highboard made in the 1960s by Danish Manufacture of unknown name, that from Randers in Denmark. There are left overs of the manufacturer sticker with very interesting information. The piece was made in Randers, and there is manufacturer address and phone number provided. What is most interesting the phone number consists only of 4 digits. For design and history lovers the full name of manufacturer is a riddle that can be solved.
Highboard has a convenient solution of three sliding doors, which reduces space in front of the furniture when needed while not restricting access to its interior. The spacious interior features two drawers on the left side and two long adjustable shelves from the middle to the end. Additionally, the sideboard has a hidden drawer in the lower part. Excellent carpentry combined with solid teak details like trapezoidal base and contoured handles shows the mastery of Danish mid-century design.
The Highboard has been checked by our team. We have made sure that the drawers are clean and the door work properly. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here we cleaned the wood profoundly and rejuvenated it with Danish oil layers. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old.
Clients from all around the world have already trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece.
Overall, excellent vintage condition, with clean drawers working smoothly.
