Description
The multifunctional two-bay oak wall unit, designed by Poul Cadovius and made by Cado features a bar cabinet or secretaire with drop front desk, ideal for home office work.
It seems to be designed specifically for enthusiasts of vinyl records. One cabinet provides a lot of storage space for favorite LPs and the top is perfect for a gramophone. Additionally, four shelves and an expository shelf will provide enough space for books, magazines, and decorations.
Wooden construction in the light oak will warm any living room or bedroom.
The system is entirely modular, allowing the components to be arranged as needed. All shelves and a cabinet can be placed higher or lower every 5 cm. The shown setup is just an example.
It is a marvelous example of the highest quality of Danish mid-century design, combining elegance, minimalism, and functionality with mastery of craftsmanship.
The wall unit consists of:
- a vinyl records cabinet: H: 42 / W: 80 / D: 38 cm (width of individual compartments: 10 cm)
- a secretaire/bar cabinet H: 42/ W: 80/ D: 38 cm
- 3 shelf: W: 80 / D: 22 cm
- 1 expository shelf: W: 80 / D: 30 cm
- 1 shelf: W: 80 / D: 38 cm
- 3 wooden rails 202 cm long
- wooden supports
The wall unit has been checked by our team. It is in excellent vintage condition. Some shelves have engraved inscriptions: “Made in Denmark”.
All doors and drawers work properly, and all parts fit together. We cleaned the wood with professional compounds and preserved it with Danish Oil to enhance the beauty of the grain.
We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering they are 60 years old.
Clients from all around the world have trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece.
Fantastic vintage condition with minor signs of wear.
