Description

This interesting Danish bookcase designed in the style of Johannes Sorth from the 1960s is a great example of high-quality Danish mid-century carpentry. This is combines elegance and functionalism.
The bookcase consists of one adjustable shelf, a cabinet with sliding doors, and also a secretaire with a pull-out desk, two small drawers, and a little compartment under the glass door cabinet. It can be used as a minimal home office space big just enough to store documents and work a few hours on your laptop. The glass door cabinet can also become a bar cabinet and a pull out tray can be used for mixing your favourite drink. The unit stands on solid teak legs. The structure is veneered in teak with solid teak accents.

Our team checked the bookcase thoroughly. All doors and drawers work smoothly. We have cleaned and refinished wood thoroughly and protected it with layers of Danish Oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old.
Clients from all around the world have already trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece. Great vintage condition with minor traces of use like little repairs of veneer, and a dark stain on the desktop.
