Truly Scandinavian modern free-standing wall unit in teak is a 2-bay modular shelving system Ergo designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1960s. The slightly curved edges make a warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement.
This shelving system includes:
- one cabinet with 4 drawers and sliding door H: 42cm / W: 79cm / D: 34 cm, drawers inner height 10cm
- one desk with 2 drawers H: 17cm/ W: 79cm / D: 41cm
- one glass door cabinet H: 34cm / W: 79 cm / D: 22 cm
- one shelf 21 cm deep
- two shelves 30 cm deep
- one flanged shelf 21 cm deep and 14 cm high
- three teak rail legs-supports 203 cm high
- brass hardware
The wall unit is in very good vintage condition with minor traces of use. Stamp made in Norway at the back of cabinet. It is not necessary but recommended to put the wall unit against the wall.
