Description

This Scandinavian free-standing two-bay wall unit in teak comes from Norway from the 1960s. It is a completely modular shelving system model called “Ergo,” designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk.

It features a practical sliding door cabinet with 4 drawers, another shallower sliding doors cabinet, a drop door cabinet with a pull-out tray perfect for audio hardware, and four shelves, including two with decorative sides. Slightly curved cabinets make an organic, warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement. This piece is perfect for a bedroom or living room, even for a dining room. It creates a very decorative, sculpture-like effect.

The wall unit has been checked and renovated by our team. All doors work properly and smoothly. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and finished with layers of Danish oil to enhance the beauty of the grain. Overall, it is in great vintage condition, with absolutely minor signs of use.
