Italian mid-century extension table in the style of Gio Ponti, 1960s

Description
An elegant Italian mid-century extension dining table closely resembles Gio Ponti’s design from the 1960s. The curved top lends a graceful outline, while the creative slide extension seamlessly accommodates additional space when needed, ensuring both practicality and beauty.
The wooden structure is veneered in rich-grained mahogany, creating a consistent line when fully extended. It features solid wood legs, detachable for more convenient transport.
The modest size makes it fit even in smaller interiors. Originally there were two extensions, in this particular model there is only one.
Our team checked the table thoroughly. It is stable, and the sliding mechanism works smoothly. We cleaned the wood with professional compounds and renewed the surface with new satin varnish.
We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering they are 60 years old.
Clients from all around the world have trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece.
Overall, the table is in excellent condition with very minor signs of wear.
