This teak wall unit with a desk-shelf was designed by Poul Cadovius for Cado in the 1960s. Great carpentry and versatility have been key features of Cadovius units. They are extremely well built and are still in perfect shape after 60 or more years of usage.

Overall set size is H: 148 / W: 244 / D: 38 cm.

Masterful joinery is showcased in the dovetailing of the drawer fronts, a demanding and increasingly rare technique in modern furniture making. The nicely integrated, nearly invisible handles sculpted in solid wood, along with the sleek, frame-like profile surrounding the drawers, are characteristic of Cadovius’ designs. The variety of components offers a versatile mix of display and storage options. In addition to open shelves, the set also includes a lockable bar cabinet with drop-down doors.

It is perfect for creating a home office space. If you lack room in your living area, studio, or bedroom, adding a floating desk-shelf is an ideal solution. Its modularity allows for flexible configuration. The arrangement of the shelves, dresser, or a desk can be easily changed. The assembly system is simple and intuitive, with components mounted on solid wood rails using brass hangers and metal pins.

2 shelves, 30 cm depth
2 shelves, 20 cm depth
a dresser H: 42 / W: 80 / D: 38 cm
a drop-down door cabinet H: 30 / W: 80 / D: 30 cm (depth with open doors 57 cm)
3 wooden rails 243 cm long
brass hardware.

The wall unit has been rejuvenated by our team. We have ensured all drawers and doors work smoothly and all components fit together well. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and finished with a few layers of Danish oil to add protection and enhance the grain. Overall, in fantastic vintage condition with absolutely minor signs of use.
