This extra wide teak wall unit was designed by Poul Cadovius and made by his company Cado in the 1960s. Its simple form provides elegance as well as very practical display and storage space. The unit consits of 5 sections and actualy 5 bays units of Poul Cadovius are very rare.

Overall set size is H: 203 / W: 403/ D: 48 cm.

The biggest highlight of this shelving system is attension to detail, evident in the sleek edges, precise joinery, and the elegant way of attaching the shelves and cabinets. This craftsmanship ensures both durability and a refined appearance. The wall unit includes shelves, three cabinets with sliding doors and inner drawers, and an expository shelf. Perfect for the living room, office, or a lobby. The unit’s design design is fully modular. The shelves and cabinet can be rearranged effortlessly, allowing users to customize the layout according to their needs. They can be placed lower higher, interchanged. The shown set up is just an example.

For decades Caovius wall units have been a symbol of classic delicate mid century look and elgance in interiors around the wolrld.

This set consists of:

3 sliding door cabinets H: 52 / W: 80 / D: 46 cm (2 of them have 1 drawer 7 cm high, and the last one has 3 drawers 3 cm high)
an expository shelf 38 cm depth
17 shelves 22 cm depth
6 solid wood rails 204 cm long
wooden supports

The unit has been renovated. All doors work smoothly, and all parts fit together. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and treated with Danish oil to enhance the beauty of the grain. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old. Fantastic, vintage, rejuvenated condition.
