This extremely functional mid-century modular teak wall unit with a hidden desk was designed in the 1960s by Poul Cadovius and made by his company Cado.

The presented wall unit features a minimalist design, brilliant carpentry, and attention to detail, especially visible in the nicely integrated handles and the beautifully woven front of one of the cabinets.

The set includes one spacious storage cabinet with sliding doors, one cabinet with drop-front doors, and six shelves of varying depths, providing ample space to store and display books and decorations. The storage cabinet features two separate compartments with two height-adjustable inner shelves each. The drop-front door cabinet can serve as a hidden desk, or a bar as well. With its inner shelf for documents or a laptop and two small drawers for accessories, it is an excellent alternative to a traditional desk and ideal for creating a discreet home office space in your living room.

5 shelves: 20 cm deep

3 wooden supports, each 198 cm long

This shelving system is entirely modular; all parts can be interchanged and set up as desired, using an easy system with brass hangers inserted into solid wood rails. The shown setup is just an example.

The wall unit has been checked by our team and is in excellent vintage condition. All doors and drawers work properly, and all parts fit together seamlessly. We cleaned the wood with professional compounds and preserved it with Danish oil to enhance the beauty of the grain.
