Gaetano Sciolari (1927–1994) was an Italian architect and lighting designer known for merging Art Deco elegance with Space Age innovation. Leading Sciolari Lighting from the 1950s, he created bold, futuristic chandeliers using brass, chrome, and crystal. His iconic designs for Stilnovo and later collaborations with U.S. brands like Lightolier defined luxury lighting in the ’70s and ’80s and remain highly collectible today
