This Danish vintage rosewood wall unit with desk was made some time in the 1960s. most likely by PS System, Randers. It’s a Scandinavian classic which combines superb craftsmanship, high quality materials and functionality. The set showcases beautiful high-quality rosewood which is highly valued for its rarity, rich color and distinctive grain patterns. The absolutely rare feature is the original rosewood lamp in the set.
This set includes desk with two drawers, with a lamp above its top, creating an intimate space for studying or working. The combination of shelves, dresser and desk makes this wall unit an excellent storage option for your studio, living room, or bedroom, offering functionality without compromising on appearance or space. Preben’s style is especially visible in nicely sculpted solid wood handles and dove-tailed drawers’ fronts, a demanding and rare technique of joining wood in today’s furniture. This shelving system is entirely modular; all parts can be interchanged and set up as desired, using an easy system with brass hangers inserted into solid wood rails. The shown setup is just an example.
