A functional shelving system inspired by the iconic modular designs of the 1960s by Poul Cadovius. With its compact size and wall-mounted design, it takes up minimal space. The wall unit’s minimalist design is complemented by high-quality craftsmanship and use of durable teak wood and teak veneer. A unique feature of this set is the handmade woven cabinet front. Made from natural pressed straw, it adds charm to the design and highlights the attention to detail characteristic of Scandinavian furniture from the 1960s. Additionally, the interior shelf can be positioned at three different heights.
This wall unit is perfect whether you’re a bookworm with a large collection or need more space for photos, decorations, or plants.
The system is fully modular, offering various configuration options to suit your needs. The assembly system is simple and intuitive, with shelves mounted on solid wood rails using black-painted metal brackets, and the cabinet supported by metal furniture pegs. Using four short rails instead of two long ones increases the arrangement possibilities, allowing for both horizontal and diagonal layouts. You can also separate the shelving unit and place it on two walls or in different rooms.
The set has been fully renovated. Decorative pegs have been used to cover the old holes, adding a new character to the wall unit. This time-consuming process allows us to restore even the most damaged shelves. The wood has been treated with professional compounds to enhance its natural beauty. Short rails make shipping easier and more cost-effective. An extremely functional and beautifully crafted unit that will fit perfectly into any interior.
