The true embodiment of minimalism and Norwegian purity, the Scandinavian Svane suite with two teak daybeds designed by Ingmar Relling and manufactured by Ekornes in the 1960s – 1970s. This vintage set complements your space both day and night.
The set includes a daybed, a three-seater sofa, a corner table, and a coffee table with a functional bottom shelf, offering ample space for storing books, magazines, or board games. The Svane daybed and sofa feature a sleeping function when fully unfolded, along with a compartment for sheets and blankets underneath. The coffee table is conveniently equipped with wheels for easy mobility.
The solid teak frame, paired with new natural wool upholstery woven in a dark and light gray delicate pepito pattern, exudes simplicity and elegance, a classic characteristic of Scandinavian mid-century modern design. Suitable for any living room, office space, or mid-century modern-style lounge.
The set is in excellent vintage condition, and its authenticity is confirmed by the original Ekornes stamp. Additionally, our team has thoroughly inspected it, ensuring all mechanisms work correctly. The old upholstery has been replaced with fully natural wool fabric, and foams and the wood has been refreshed with Danish Oil. Some very minor signs of use are visible on the wood, attesting to the suite’s age.
