Visually appealing and extremely functional, this shelving system in teak was designed in the style of 1960s projects by Poul Cadovius for Cado.
The wall unit is crafted from warm-hued teak wood, showcasing beautiful grain patterns. Attention to detail and the artistry of Danish craftsmanship are especially evident in the meticulously hand-woven front of the drop-door cabinet. This way of embellishing cabinets is extremely rare and requires a lot of work from the makers.
One deep shelf is designed to be used as a compact desk, or can be used for dispolaying large obejects. Thanks to this practical addition, the wall unit can be used for creating an excellent home-office space in your studio or a bedroom without compromising on style or space.
Dieses Regalsystem ist vollständig modular aufgebaut; alle Teile können beliebig ausgetauscht und aufgestellt werden, niedriger, höher, mithilfe eines einfachen Systems mit Messingaufhängern, die in Massivholzschienen eingesetzt werden. Die abgebildete Anordnung ist nur ein Beispiel.
Das Set besteht aus:
- a cabinet: H: 34 / W: 80 / D: 37 (depth when fully opened: 67 cm)
- 8 Regalböden: B: 80 / T: 20 cm
- a compact desk: W: 80 / D: 45 cm
- 6 Holzschienen: jede mit einer Länge von 100 cm
Die Verwendung von sechs kürzeren Schienen anstelle von drei längeren erweitert die Anordnungsmöglichkeiten noch mehr. Außerdem werden die Versandkosten gesenkt.
The wall unit has been upcycled. We have carried out a thorough renovation. We have have used old and new parts to revive this shelving system. All the wood is sanded down, and coats of stain are applied to create a uniform look. It is finished with Danish oil. If necessary, we replace the damaged veneer to improve the appearance. The rails are redone according to the originals. The hardware has been polished.
