Beschreibung
A classic, minimalist version of the modular wall system inspired by Poul Cadovius projects. With its compact size and wall-mounted design, it takes up minimal space while offering practical storage solutions. Crafted from teak wood and teak veneer—materials highly popular in the mid-20th century. The solid wood drawer fronts are joined with dovetail joints, a durable and precise technique rarely seen in modern furniture. Particularly in this case, the joints reveal the beautiful, natural wood grain pattern. The compact console makes the set ideal for storing keys and other essentials in an entryway, but thanks to its wide shelves, the piece is also perfect for displaying decorations and plants in the living room.
Die Wandkonstruktion ist als flexibles System konzipiert, bei dem die Regalböden frei angeordnet werden können. Das Montagesystem ist einfach und intuitiv: Die Komponenten werden mit Messinghaken und Metallstiften an Massivholzschienen befestigt. Durch die Verwendung von vier kurzen Schienen anstelle von zwei langen Schienen erhöhen sich die Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten, sodass sowohl horizontale als auch diagonale Anordnungen möglich sind.

The wall unit has been upcycled through a thorough renovation, combining old and new parts to revive the shelving system. All the wood has been sanded down, coated with stain applied for a uniform look, and finished with layers of Danish oil. If necessary, damaged veneer is replaced to enhance the appearance. In this case, mounting rails has been recreated in the style of the original, the brass elements have been polished. Short rails make shipping easier and more cost-effective.
